Who we are

Luhkee BV ("[ luhk-ee ]", "we") is responsible for the personal data described here: Dichtersstraat 49, 2610 Wilrijk, Belgium. Questions about this policy or your data: connect@luhkee.be.

This policy covers www.luhkee.be and the [ luhk-ee ] configurator at configurator.luhkee.be.

Configuration requests

​

When you request a configuration sheet, we collect your name, email address, country or region, and the faceplate you designed (finish, layout, engraving and inserts). We need these details to send you the sheet; without them we can't process the request.

We email you a PDF of your configuration and pass your request to the [ luhk-ee ] dealer or distributor for your region, who follows up on your order. We also keep it in our customer list.

Legal basis: your consent, given with the checkbox on the request form, and the steps needed to provide the service you asked for.

Newsletter

If you subscribe separately, we use your email address to send product updates. Legal basis: your consent.

Member accounts​​

​

If you have a member account on luhkee.be, we keep what's needed to run it: your name, email address and login details. Legal basis: providing the account you asked for.

Cookies

​

Strictly necessary cookies are always on. Analytics and advertising cookies, on our website and in the configurator, are set only after you agree in the bar at the bottom of the page. You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

• Strictly necessary — Wix, our website platform: security, loading pages, remembering your cookie choice. Listed at wix.com/about/cookie-table.

• Strictly necessary — the configurator: keeps your design in progress in your browser so a page refresh doesn't lose it. It never leaves your device and is cleared when you close the tool.

• Analytics — Google Analytics: _ga and _ga_<ID>, kept for 2 years.

• Advertising — Meta: _fbp, _fbc and fr, kept for 90 days.

• Advertising — Pinterest: _pin_unauth, _epik, _pinterest_ct_ua and _derived_epik, kept for up to 1 year.

Analytics and advertising

​

If you accept these cookies on our website or in the configurator:

• Google Analytics shows us how visitors find and use our website and configurator.

• Meta Pixel (Facebook, Instagram) and Pinterest Tag measure our advertising and let us show our work again to people who visited. They receive the pages you visit, browser and device information and a cookie identifier. If you're logged in to Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest, they may link this to your account.

Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time; this doesn't affect what was processed before. For collecting this data and passing it to Meta and Pinterest, we and they are jointly responsible; what they do with it afterwards falls under their own privacy policies.

Server logs

​

Our hosting providers log basic technical data for every visit, such as IP address, browser type and time, to keep the website and the configurator secure and running. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in doing so.

Who receives your data

​

• The [ luhk-ee ] dealer or distributor for your region, for configuration requests.

• Service providers working for us: Resend (sending emails), Wix (website, customer list, newsletter and member accounts) and SiteGround (hosting the configurator).

• Google, Meta and Pinterest, only if you accept analytics or advertising cookies.

Some dealers and providers are outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. For these transfers we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or, for US providers certified under it, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

​

• Configuration requests: 24 months after your last contact with us. If you become a customer through a dealer, the dealer's own records apply.

• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or after 2 years without any interaction with our emails, then removed within 30 days.

• Member accounts: while active; deleted 2 years after your last login.

• Google Analytics data: 14 months. Cookies: as listed above.

• Server logs: a limited period set by our hosting providers.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to receive it in a portable format, or to restrict or object to how we use it. You can withdraw consent at any time: for cookies through "Cookie settings", for the newsletter through the unsubscribe link, and for anything else by writing to connect@luhkee.be. We don't make automated decisions about you. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / APD), autoriteprotectiondonnees.be.
